Botanical Babe

Botanical Babe is one of Llandudno's most distinctive and talked-about cafe experiences — an indoor plant shop and speciality coffeehouse combined on Mostyn Street that has built a remarkable reputation for the quality of its coffee and the character of its setting. It is ranked number one for Quick Bites in Llandudno on TripAdvisor, named in the Indy Coffee Guide Wales, and consistently described by reviewers as serving the best coffee in Llandudno or even in Wales.

The cafe was started by Tesni during the pandemic and has grown into something genuinely special. The interior is an oasis of lush houseplants — you navigate through greenery to find the counter — and the atmosphere is calm, green and unlike anywhere else in the town. The coffee uses locally roasted beans and is crafted with evident care: flat whites, lattes and batch brews are consistently excellent.

The food menu is focused rather than broad: goat's cheese and rocket toasties, mozzarella paninis, feta rolls, filled croissants and a range of cakes and pastries that change regularly. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are well represented. The pistachio blondie and cherry almond blondie have their own devoted following among regulars.
