Situated on Llandudno's West Shore with views across the Conwy estuary to Anglesey and the mountains of Snowdonia, North Wales Golf Club is a true championship links in every sense. The front nine run alongside the railway line in the manner of Troon, the back nine hug the coast, and the ever-present wind ensures the course earns its reputation as one of the finest tests in North Wales. Founded in 1894 and winner of the Wales Club of the Year award.
Designed by five-time Open Champion James Braid, Maesdu sits just across the railway line from its neighbour and offers a distinctly different character — more open parkland than classic links, with gorse-lined fairways and some of the most spectacular panoramic views in the area. The elevated 18th tee looks out over Llandudno, the Great Orme, West Shore and North Shore simultaneously. Part of the North Wales James Braid Trail.
The third oldest club in Wales and one of its most celebrated, Conwy Golf Club sits at the mouth of the River Conwy. It is an Open Qualifying venue and has hosted major events including the 2021 Curtis Cup and the European Amateur Team Championship. The links test golfers of every level, and the clubhouse — with its views back across the course — is the right place to reflect on a round.
A parkland course that plays very much like a links, Rhos-on-Sea offers wide fairways, raised tees, Mackenzie-style two-tiered greens and a signature island-green finish. It is a more forgiving test than its championship neighbours while still offering a genuine challenge, and the club is warmly welcoming to visitors, societies and casual groups.

The Rosedene is a boutique guest house rather than a formal stay-and-play operator — we don't bundle tee times. What we offer is a superb base in the right location, often considerably less than larger hotel alternatives. Tee times are booked directly with the clubs.
